This policy applies to everyone who uses Averic's apps, accounts, feedback boards and averic.app. It is part of our Terms of Service. If you break it we may remove what you posted and suspend or end your account, as section 14 of the terms explains.
Stay within the law
Do not use the Services to break the law, or to help anyone else break it.
What you post
This covers feedback boards and anywhere else in the Services where other people can see what you write. Do not post anything that:
- is illegal, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, threats, harassment, stirring up hatred, fraud or scams, or content encouraging suicide or self-harm;
- bullies, threatens, harasses or targets a person or a group;
- is pornography or otherwise sexual, or graphically violent;
- encourages, promotes or gives instructions for suicide, self-harm or an eating disorder;
- encourages serious violence, dangerous stunts or challenges, or taking harmful substances;
- shares someone else's personal information, such as their address, phone number, email or photo, without their permission;
- pretends to be someone else, including us;
- is spam, advertising, or a link that promotes something;
- infringes anyone's copyright, trade mark or other rights;
- contains malware or links to it.
Keep posts to what the board is for: ideas for the app and problems with it.
An account may not be run by or for a proscribed organisation. We delete any that is.
We report child sexual abuse material, and threats to someone's life or safety, to the police or other authorities where the law requires us to.
Security and fair play
Do not:
- try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or test our security without our written permission (if you find a weakness, tell us at hello@averic.app and we will thank you);
- get round licence checks, the free plan's limits, AI allowances or any other restriction, or help anyone else do it;
- share, publish or sell licence keys or accounts;
- run bots, scripts or scrapers against our Services, or send requests at a rate that puts a strain on them;
- reverse engineer the apps, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with anyone else's use of the Services.
AI features
Do not use AI features to:
- create anything illegal or harmful, or anything that breaks Anthropic's own usage policy;
- create any sexual content involving children, in any form, ever;
- try to make the AI ignore its safeguards;
- write applications, CVs or messages that are false or misleading about you;
- send messages to employers in a volume or a way that breaks the rules of the site where the job is listed.
Reporting a problem
Press Report under the post, or email hello@averic.app with the app's name and what you saw. We will reply within 5 working days.
When we get a report we look at it, and if the content is illegal or against this policy we remove it and may restrict the account that posted it. We tell the person why, unless that would be unsafe or unlawful. If you think we got a decision wrong, whether it was about your post or someone else's, email us and someone will look at it again.
The changes made to this policy on 7 October 2026 apply from 7 November 2026.
